Substance Use Trends in Canada Newsletter

CCSA co-ordinates with the Canadian Community Epidemiology Network on Drug Use (CCENDU) to publish this newsletter, Substance Use Trends in Canada. It informs people living in Canada about emerging substance use health issues and trends, pulling from a variety of information sources.

CCENDU Bulletin: Update on Xylazine in Canada and the United States

This bulletin updates recent data on xylazine’s presence in the unregulated drug supply from a Canadian Community Epidemiology Network on Drug Use (CCENDU) alert in July 2022. It also assesses concerns among community partners and highlights public health-based solutions. CCENDU partnered with the National Drug Early Warning System in the United States and the Public Health Agency of Canada to update the previous alert.
